KaltEx Cold Temperature Grease

KaltEx cold temperature grease is particularily useful in extreme weather environments such as equipment and machinery working in the arctic or sub-arctic. Perfect for cold rooms, cold storage lockers, ice plants, refrigeration or cold storage equipment where there is no possibility of food contact. It will resist environmental fates such as humidity, ice and road salts without hardening, washing off, or deteriorating.

NLGI #2 Anhydrous, calcium 12-hydroxystearate formulation provides an extreme service rating of -54°C (-65°F) to 141°C (225°F). It has an amber color and contains no solid additives such as graphite, moly disulfide or zinc oxide. It also passes the salt-spray-resistance and rust tests required by the US Government for severe environmental contact greases. KaltEx can be used on a wide range of industrial applications, or anywhere a "hydro-dynamic" lubricating medium of a moderate to severe nature is required. The wide temperature range allows it to resist the cold without deteriorating the lubricating values when encountering hotter temperatures.
