Grade 8 Bolts
GRADE 8 HEX HEAD CAP SCREWS are typically manufactured from medium carbon alloy steel, quenched and tempered for strength, yellow dichromate plated for rust & corrosion protection. Using SAE J429 test methods they have a minimum tensile strength of 150,000 psi (dia. 1/4 to 1-1/2"). Length is measured from under the head.
